Lp #3. Well, most of this record has a back beat. "New Morning" sure is different with an overdubbed horn section.

I like it fine, Bill. It's very creative, as the songs literally stream together nicely. I never knew of Pretty Things back in the day, but only learned about them recently. Wished I had known. I also have their album "Parachute." It's very different than S.F. Sorrow.

Seatrain was an American roots fusion band based initially in Marin County, California, and later in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Seatrain was formed in 1969, subsequently drawing some members from the Blues Project upon its break-up. The group, which recorded four albums, disbanded in 1973

One of my favorite groups Pman. I've got Marblehead Messenger & Watch on vinyl. And "don't you roll those bloodshot eyes at me".  :thumb:

One of the most enigmatic little artists of our time and one of the most enigmatic little recordings to boot, a 10" EP, Girl at the Volcano, Rickie Lee Jones (WB).  Girl blows me away on this.  Some of the tracks are live.  The rest sound live cept there is no audience.

Listening back to back, sheet, man, besides that, listening to the harmonics of those acoustic guitar strings on Last Chance Texaco from her MFSL 180g release of her self titled LP tells me that my SRA is spot freakin on, right as rain.  Bloody gorgeous it is.  Not to mention the harmonic liquidity of her voice.
