Naim Uniti Atom fits the bill nicely.

All in One unit by MOON (Made in Canada) looks not too bad.

:D found a Nova for 5 large, 2012 built machine. Can I ask all ?  Is this a good all-in-one ? It's 3 grand more than an Atom as 80W and not 40.   Tempting if I knew wtf I was doing. It's in Canada too. That Moon unit looks dam good too.  New for 5 large. Again Canada. What to do cool cats ?  The paradox of choice once again.  :D

Out of curiosity, is "Nova" the manufacturer or model name?  Can you be more specific?

:D sorry, it's the Naim Nova. I wonder if it's a good machine ?  The new price here in Canada is 8500 . Ouch   :D. It was built in 2021,, so it's very new.

Check out the NAD M10 V2. Very nice all-in-one unit (streamer, DAC, amp) thats within your budget. May be hard to find one right now but probably can if you look around a little bit. If you want to stretch your budget NAD's M33 has also gotten great reviews and will probably offer better performance.

Also, if you don't mind buying used, BlueSound makes a similar unit as the NADs called the PowerNode. There is one on US AudioMart right now for $765. You could "get your feet wet" before buying a more expensive unit or you might decide its a keeper. I think BlueSound is a division of NAD or is associated in someway.

It is, and they both use the BluOS app / operating system.  Very intuitive and easy to use, highly regarded in the industry in terms of functionality and ease of use for techno-phobes.  I love it in my BlueSound PowerNode and Node 2i units.....and I'm a technology ignoramus.

To the OP, I would consider the NAD M10 and M33.  Both get excellent reviews.

:D. Thanks all.  The NAD is sure a lot less $$ than the Naim. Might be better to go that way.   I don't know ?  They don't have a V2 here yet at the local shop.   :D

sunnydaze

Local B & M shops no longer needed.  There are many online vendors that sell it.  Do the Google.
Crutchfield offers risk-free 60 day returns.

If interested, tons of video reviews here:

Darko compares it to Naim Uniti Atom, FWIW.

If you are interested in more direct comparisons, just google on  "naim uniti atom vs nad m10"

:D thanks all you great cats for all your help. I'm leaning to the M10 V2 . Looks like 3500 with free shipping here in Canada.  I hope it works out ,, the machine seems to be and easy use device with a few very good features.  Two subs would be great. TV hookup is also great.  :D

You will love the BlueOS app / controller.  It's intuitive and easy to use, and has been glitch-free for me for 2 years.  It includes lots of free streaming channels -- keeping me busy, such that I've yet to purchase any subscription services (Tidal, Roon, Qobuz, etc).

I mainly stream for casual background listening.  I still goto vinyl for serious listening.  It's much more natural, musical, immersive and spacious than my digital.  Maybe I just need to upgrade my digital gear?  (Node 2i, Border Patrol DAC,  older Metronome and Raysonic cd players)

:D vinyl is final baby !  Ha. I still spin those big black disc things myself. Lotta peeps think it's to much work.
Can't wait to try the NAD ,, everyone here is so good ! Thanks for all the help on the matter.  :D

Hi!

i just tried a Cocktail Audio N15D with very dissapointing results... seems that the software and the app don't know how to work togehther. this ain't easy plug'n'play.
have to send it back to the dealer - better now than later!

I would look at the Primare I35 Prisma.  It does it all. I heard it at RMAF 2-3 years ago.  It sounds awesome.

My son has a Cary SI300.2D integrated that sounds great.  450wpc.

I wanted to get back into audio without an endless chase of cartridges, vinyl, cleaners, CD’s, players, components and accessories.  I did that in the past, and it was difficult since my interest wasn’t necessarily shared in the household.

This time I wanted to keep it simple.  A NAD M33, a pair of CSS Audio Criton 1TDX’s, stands and good speaker cables.  Qobuz using BluOS.  Great sound, huge library, ability to make playlists.

As for budget, the M33 is available factory reconditioned/certified for about $4K, with the same warranty as new.  It has a very high quality DAC, tons of clean power and Dirac Live.  The M33 is also somewhat future proofed with a couple slots for future modules.

Oh, everything sounds great.

I've serviced NAIM before, and don't care for their lack service information, or their reliability.

I own a Cambridge CXN V2 and love it. There's a version with vacuum tube stages availible as well. Sounds excellent, Spotify plug-n-play and nice display.
