Title: About WR-100
Post by: r91085 on 23 Aug 2017, 02:32 am
I read WR-100 Manual and my question is : what is the "direct Mode" ?

Could I use WR-100 as Bluetooth dongle just connect to it and play music by any App on my phone ?

Could I use WR-100 as a DLNA upnp render and just output music to it by my app (android BubbleUPnP .. etc ) ?

Yes, WR-100 is a renderer.  In direct mode, it is in AP mode, meaning you don't need a router.  This feature is not that useful now that wireless access is everywhere.  And most people who travel brings a portable router + charger (cost around $20) with them.
