 Yngwie Malmsteen - Black Star

Sweet.

As much as I appreciate Yngwie, I prefer Frank.  :thumb:

Dude. I almost cried.
I think I'm going to have to force her to take some of my money. Just ....wow.
Thanks man. Really.

Looks like you can cry live in person in May.

Doing my Taxes today, which means it's procrastinating time. Number of tax schedules filled out so far = almost 1; Hours of looking at youtube music videos and posting in audioforums = a couple too many

Found the following video showing how many songs are based on the same chord progression.
https://youtu.be/VTnuGkZgaMc?list=RDb9IV5u9iwuQ

It's far from an "audiophile approved" clip, but it's kind of fun seing how all the different songs are connected together - all from Journey and Michael Jackson to U2 and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

The person who posted the video called it stealing, but I would just call it one of the more common chord combinations.

He's got some "split screen" version where he plays two "parts" (pardon my lack of proper terminology).

The recent jazz trio video with Stanton Moore that was posted (which was great thank you :thumb:) reminded me how much I like jazz trios. Here are two more jazz trio videos, this time featuring  Esbjorn Svensson trio

From Gargarains point of view (give this live version a little time to get started.)
https://youtu.be/d0C2pzSe5OQ

BTW: the studio recording released on CD has some sweet deep bass. Bob - the sleepy bass walk in the album version reminds me a bit of the "subworkout" song you posted.

Serenade for the renegade and a few more (part of concert):

ksbruce Very nice. Thank you!

Btw: I have found this super nice female voice with solo bass performance. It's OUTSTANDING and its one of the best one I have heard in a long time and I cant stop listening to it. Not only is the sound quality great, the video recording is good too which is often hard to find for live performances. The only thing is that is political pie throwing season in the US at the moment and this is of all things a whitehouse.gov. aired concert. So in order to not send this thread to the quarantine I want to remind you all about the no politics comments policy on Audio Circle plus you have to search for it yourself: "Esperanza Spalding white house poetry jam part 5". Been holding onto this one for a while but it's too good not to share. If you look around, there are actually a lot of good performances aired from the whitehouse (search PBS website or youtube). Ok remember no comments about politics.
