I registered so I could search a long topic. However, any search I attempt returns "You are not allowed to search for posts in this forum." Don't care if this is displayed or not but would sure like an explanation by a moderator. Frustrating and as far as I can tell, no explanation is available in help.

While 'search' is not listed as one of the services that is restricted until you reach minimum number of posts, it could be that you couldn't search because you had zero posts.

Recently the minimum number of posts to enable all site features was decreased from 3 to 1. So try doing a search now that you have one post, and let us know if it works.

I was member in other forum where minimum fence is 50 posts to allow post in certain subforums.
