The signal path for the SET 600 with XLR/RCA option when set to XLR will be from XLR jack through the normally closed contacts of a fairly high quality un-energized relay on a small pcb mounted on the back of the XLR jack, and then onto the amplifier board via high quality coax cable.
The signal path for the SET 600 with XLR only is from XLR jack to the amplifier board via high quality coax cable.
