Title: SW-8-16FR Sealed
Post by: Keithh on 7 Dec 2017, 04:00 am
Has anyone heard or used them in a sealed enclosure? What would be involved with using them
with the HX-300 amp and can 3 be used with the amp when used in a sealed enclosure. They must
have far more output sealed than they do in OB.

I was thinking about building a Super-V, Super 7 lookalike using the 8's on the bottom and maybe a N series
kit on top for HT. Plus rebuilding my Wedgies with 12's since I know now they are easy to build.

Sealed air space for that model gets pretty large.

You could drive three of them with the HX300 amp.

And the output level in a sealed box is greater, but not by a lot.
