  • I'm just not right!
After a lengthy DIY home renovation when I put my old SOTA Sapphire aside for a few years, I finally hooked it up again this summer.  Jaw-dropping sound, but the motor was very noisy.

The folks at SOTA were very helpful in setting me up with an upgraded motor, and once that was in, one channel went away.

Emailed Eminent Technology, who offered to re-wire my air-bearing arm for a reasonable price.  When I took the arm apart to send it to them, I took Scott F.'s advice to do a continuity check, and found some tangled wires.  Straightened them out and all the tests were suddenly perfect.

Plugged it back into my pre, and HOT DAMN!  It works!

This is what I like about this hobby.  Great firms that back up their products, and great folks who lend a hand to others.  Thanks all! :thumb:

In a few days, Paul.  I pulled out my tools and ladders to finish putting up trim, and the stuff is all over the place.  If I get my wife to let me stay home and finish up this weekend I'll post photos.
