I bought this stuff expecting to make some DIY absorbers but never got around to it.
CertainTeed CertaPro Acoustaboard - black 24 x 48 x 1.5" 8 pcs.
The corners are a little ragged because the box does not offer any real protection but this is purely incidental since they should go inside a wooden frame anyway.
Not worth shipping so this is pickup only in CT 06070 or meet up in greater Hartford area.
$60 takes it all.

This is the preferred material to make sound absorbers. Due to the high density, they absorb more spl-wise. They also absorb a broader frequency spectrum - better than GIK Acoustics, Auralex or similar.

This material is basically equivalent to Owens-Corning 703 except it has the black face that absorbs a little better and is easier to work with and cover
