My 80 bucks all inclusive Cornet

Jim,

I bought a brown outed Cornet with plenty of Mundorfs (very heavy devices and much toooo big for your pcb and also with golden letters) and also heavy Electrolytics vomitting (hanging) with wires from the circuit board(very strange construction) The Hammond trannies burnt twice -I think he installed a MKP with say 700Volts DC , but 275V AC in the RC network secondary with say >>500V AC-shortcut?  ( hole in the PCB!!).

Your phono pre ist outstanding-even and especially for regular money bought from you-I have plenty of devices to compare N Pass clones, Lehmanns,
old Mitsubishi,Electors I did them all and stored them, Conrad Johnson eg.

Lenco's, Garrard 301, TD124, Micro,Acoustical plenty of tonearms

Klipsch Heresy

This thing is one of the best I built.

Congratulations- I think I will hardwire your trumpet next.

Some of the collegues here make big efforts to improve caps -I took Orange Drops and Audyn from my dealer here on the shelf for less than two bucks each-very nice.

The tubes came out of a ten bucks sports bag from the fleamarket from a turkish fellow-so far.

With my best regards

Peter

Thanks for the kind words.  Even with modest parts the circuit can work quite well.
