I am fortunate (domestically and professionally) in that I am able listen to music all day long and most days I do.  What about you?  How many hours a day, on average, do you intentionally listen?

I work at home on a computer, so I can usually get in around 6 hours of music each day.

I'm on long term disability, so depends on pain I'm in, but between 4-10 hours a day.

Roon tells me about 30 hours a week.  Most of it not focused listening.  Often music playing while I'm working/researching/searching on the computer.

i think the real question is 'how much do you get to actively listen to music?' I'm lucky enough to office from home and have music on 3-4hrs per day through the Encores on my desk. However, listening to my main system with the lights low and few other distractions - not so much. A few nights/week for a few hours probably totals 10hrs/week.

As far as active listening, I probably average 4-5 hours per week.  That should increase quite a bit when I retire in a few years.

Not as much as I would like.   Most of my time spent in front of my hi-fi speakers is while watching movies or serials (Book of Boba Fett, Peacemaker, Star Trek Discovery/Picard, etc.), although they do have great music at times.   

I'm also learning the hard way that my audio CD library is sorely lacking.   I ripped a few dozen of them to FLAC thinking they'd be close to HDA, but sadly not.   I didn't realize how big that difference was until I compared John Williams' Star Wars theme to an HDA version.  Wow!   Now I'm looking into HDA services.   ACD is definitely obsolete.

While we was on lockdown I was getting 8+ hours a day, now we are back at work probably 5+ hours as I still get to use my headphones at work.

Maybe an hour or two during the week, an hour or two longer on the weekends.

I do not listen to music while doing another activity, or as background music. Almost all of my listening is done as my primary activity. So, I only listen when I have time to give it my full attention.

Except when doing research on YouTube, looking for new bands, composers, artists, etc.
