Speakers Corner reissue.

To my ears, this has the best SQ of the 3 versions I own followed by the first US pressing, followed by the MoFi. The first US pressing is the original mix and the Speakers Corner and MoFi are the remix (from 1978 according to Wikipedia).

Toni,
Thank you for the info about the mixes and the Wikipedia link. There is a good discussion of this on Steve Hoffman's forum, http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/on-the-subject-of-the-moody-blues-days-of-future-passed.191710/#post-4701568

Just received my pre-order Pearl Jam Chicago 1995 vinyl where they played 33 songs in a single night in an attempt to play a set as long as The Grateful Dead did at the same venue (Soldier Field). The show was split up into two double LP sets.  :thumb:

Laura, are you familiar with Too Slim & The Taildraggers ?  http://www.allmusic.com/album/tales-of-sin-and-redemption-mw0000711050  Wasn't aware till this morning they were local to your neighborhood. If you like early ZZ Top, &/or blues in general you might want to check them out.  I only ask as I've never seen you post/comment on them.

40, clouds, scattered showers this morning, a tad nippy for June 15th. Hope all is well and your weather is better than here.

JD,

I am familiar and have heard them play at Pig Out in the Park over Labor Day weekend in Spokane. I have a couple of their CDs. To my knowledge, they have never released any of their music on vinyl.

We had frost warnings in the area last night and temp got down to around 40 in Spokane. Supposed to be mid 60s today and 70s over the weekend.

Best,

Laura

Just a great album!

Yes it is. I think I like Learning to Crawl a little better.
