Uhm, that would have been me, Sahib, in an earlier, blatant spooky-toothier moment of unapolgetic oneupmanship. Somehow, the not-so-veiled intent was meant to be educational. I try and try and try to tell people ... but do they listen?? Nooooooohhhh.

Btw, that's some tree he's standing under isn't it. Crikey.

He still plays - or did - the small bar scene in England. As does - or did - Mick Abrahms.

Yes sirree, that's the right stuff right there, CB, that's the right stuff. Heck of a player. He was supposed to be in the next evolution of the Hendrix band but alas.

I can still hear, at will, Sugarcane vs. Mandel on JM's Back to the Roots.

That Sugarcane lp was real sweet. I was thinking about what other lp's I had with Harris and "Back to the Roots" is another. The first one that came to mind though was "Hot Rats", my favorite Zappa lp.

"Pair of khaki pants and my shoes shined black".

Tasty progressive from the very start with Hillage with a very cool version of "Hurdy Gurdy Man" and ends with another great cover with Beatles "All Too Much", fine throughout.
