BDA 3.14 question for JT
« on: 7 Oct 2019, 06:42 pm »
Hi James, I am interested in the 3.14. Will it have an updated HDMI board? In the current BDA3 manual on your site it states "HDMI inputs are 1.4a compliant and can pass 4K video at up to 30fps. HDMI input 4 is HDCP 2.2" It would be great to see at a minimum HDMI 2.0b with all 4 inputs supported at HDCP 2.2 instead of just 1.

Thanks,

Al

Hi Al,

I know it is a different board in the 3.14 so I will check for you.

Hi Al,

I checked and there is no new HDMI board available for the 3.14 - there will be but not yet.

Hi James,

The information page and manual for the 3.14 suggest it will come with its own dedicated remote control.  Is that the case and do you have a picture of what it would look like?

Hi Dave

Yes we have a new remote (the BR2 remote will still be available).  This BR-4 remote is less expensive.

It will not be available though for a couple of weeks.

We recommend using the GUI on your devices with the 3.14.

Will the new BR-4 remote provide HDMI switching on the BDA-3?
