You will get cover art if you change artist thumb view to Folder.jpg.  It will use the first album art in each folder for a specific artist.  That is if you have a separate album cover for each album.  I don't use the scripts.

Mine works perfect.  I tried using cover scripts like you have posted above and no album art displayed at all.
I have an iPad Pro and an iPhone 6s and it runs beautifully.  Very quick and over 1500 albums.  I have an old iPad 2 and it will run it but really slow.  What device do you have?

I have the IPAD Pro and it will just not stop from Loading the Artwork no matter what I put in the setup menus.

Here are the other settings.  The journal view is also really neat.  I'm not sure if you have tried it or not.  Love it.

Correction to the above advice on cover art: you do NOT want to use BOTH "Cover Script URL" and "Collection URL".

If you have a folder.jpg in each album, leave the Cover Script URL field blank and fill-in the Collection URL and following fields.

Mine look like this:

Collection URL: http://bryston-bdp-1.local/music/
Cover Filename: folder.jpg
Artist Thumb Filename: thumb.jpg
Booklet Filename: booklet.pdf

On my system, I get images for artist, album and PDF booklets without issue.

Hey krutsch do you have a thumb jpg in each file?  If I use folder.jpg in both spots I get a lot of crashing.  When I get it up as I suggested to James it works fine.  Confused now lol

Hi James, can you clarity what you mean.

You know how the red bar across the top shows the art loading - mine never completes - goes about 1/4 of the way across and I have to go out and back into Soundirok to get it to load and then no cover art.

Everything works as it should but no cover art shows other than blank album covers with just the name of the artist.

I have 1500+ albums and it takes about 10 minutes to completely load all the album art.  I use 1000x1000 covers from Fanart.  I think there can be a problem it the image is too big.  That may make it hang.

Ok I have 50,000 so that may be the issue.

Nope. My library looks like this (as an example):

[USB Flash A]/High-Res/Genre/Artists/Album 1 ... Album N.

Under each artist folder, I have a "thumb.jpg" that I placed, manually. Under each Album sub-folder, I have a "folder.jpg" for the cover art. My cover images are sometimes large (1400x1400), but most are 1K x 1K.

James, you should contact that developer, as he may not be testing with a library of that size. I sent him a short list of issues I found with version 2.1 and he has been very responsive in the past.

Let me know if you need Daniel's e-mail address.

Ok thanks - I will try it on my BDP-PI  that has a much smaller library.

Nope - the red line stops loading at about 1/4 across the top even with a few albums.

Something must be up with my system.  MM and MPAD work fine

I am going to try it on my system at work.

Hi James.  I'm sure you have already done this.  Did you try and clear the local image cache then try and reload.
