A Swiss German girl from Zurich biting into a real American Hamburger in Illinois. Couldn't get to it fast enough.

How come you're stuck in Texas, and your son gets to travel everywhere?  Who's paying for his trips?  Oh, it must be you, since you can't go anywhere.

Thanks, stlrman.  Shot on my trusty Nikon D40 w/ Sigma 18-50 f/2.8.  I don't remember clearly now, but they were most likely shot at iso800.

The northern frontier. I drove past this point about 2 years ago. Counted about 100 deer along the ditch up to Green Lake, Beavel, Sk..

My son paying for his own trip, he should be home next week after 3 months backpacking Europe.
Long as I can enjoy my musics here at home, no need to go anywhere "yet"

It was handheld with lots of wind so maybe not as crisp as it should be. I also have to resize thes pics wayyyy down in order to upload them. They look a lot better in original size.

here is another corn power shot from same time

I just bought some new software (Topaz Adjust) and took the liberty to mess with your shot.

I know what you mean about the loss of impact due to scaling down the size.

No problem, if you PM me an email I would gladly send you the originals.
