PeteG, where in AZ/UT does one go to find the slot canyons you so beautifully photographed?

Thanks guys, I just shot the beauty that was in front of me.

Thunder, a few miles outside Page, AZ (close to Lake Powell) is upper/lower Antelope Canyons they are part of Navajo Nation.

Thanks, Pete!  Did you have to hire a guide?  If so, any recommendations?

Thanks!

yes, you have to have a guide. ken's Tours is only one I would recommend. The rest were hit or miss to me, also there will be a ton of tourists.

When do the herds of tourists thin out?  We are thinking early December for a trip or mid-November.

Yes, winter months would be the best time to avoid the crowds.

I have to say there are some threads that I visit every time I browse this forum.
This is one of them.  Great pictures!  I wonder if anybody would sell any of them.
They are of such great quality that I think there might be a market for them here.

Hi gfroman,
for 20 years, I was next door (Vietnam) to Cambodia
and never had the chance to go see Angkor Wat,
despite the fact that I went to Cambodia two times.
Really nice pictures...
