A view from the Old Rock House, a music club in St. Louis, MO. Was there to see "Lake Street Dive," a funked up, jazz-based band with a world class female vocalist named Rachel Price. http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=9086.1100

Last Saturday morning, I went out to watch the kids' soccer game at the "Super Block" field. It was a miserable morning... dark, wet, cold-in-your-bones, muddy, etc. The kids were pink cheeked and shivering. Somewhere around half-time, I looked up and saw this... Kinda gave me the creeps. Orwellian. Remember, Big Brother is watching you!

Agreed.  I really like all the shots you've shared of Mr. Rusty.  He's polydactyl too, eh?  Rescue pets are often the best companions.

Thanks both, Mr. Rusty is a goofball.

Bside, nice shot.  My nephew lives near STL and I've yet to meet his fiancé.  If I were to come up, would you be willing to escort us, or maybe just me, to The Old Rock House or any favorite dive of yours?  Are you in touch with ??????.  Damn, man, I can't think of his moniker he posts so rarely these days.  He's a man of color and sold me a set of Matsushita tubes and loves jazz.  Maybe you can help put us together.

If it was tubes that would have been Sturgus. He just recently posted on the GAS Vinyl Crawl thread in the GAS regional circle. Should be able to pm him there.

Edit:  NOW I see it!   Working on its tan while floating in the pool.   :duh:

I'm in Germany for the next two weeks. Here's a brilliantly, colorful site... a Rapeseed field in full bloom at the base of several powerful Wind Turbines. The Germans are big on using wind power. The Rapeseed plants are grown for harvesting commercial oils that are typically used in industrial applications. In the States and Canada, we call the oil "Canola" oil. Good for engines, but not really good to eat. Rudolf Diesel would have loved this sight for use in his invention, the "diesel" engine, which was originally designed to run ONLY on vegetable oil! Think... homegrown fuel.  :thumb:

Yes, it's great seeing wild, free-range, high-end Mercedes, BMWs, etc. in their natural habitat!
