Seen this juvenile bald eagle watching over a prairie dog field, he must have been very hungry to let me get close.

Hey!

Hmmm.... maybe he is trying to hide for the coyote?

Anyway, seriously I have no idea. But the guy is OK right? Maybe just resting?

Take care,

pansixt,

Amazing shot.  I have been to that NICU quite a few times.  My wife carried twins for my sister and brother-in-law.  Her water broke early and they were born at 27 weeks.  Twin boys (Max and Mason) who are now close to 10 lbs!  They can do amazing things there in the NICU and are surrounded by the best doctors and nurses.  I wish you, your family and Jaxx all the best.  I know how stressful a time it is.

I was all set to ask about the setup when I saw these, but you already beat me to it.  Crikey, that's a serious lighting rig!

I feel a little like crying myself though, cause my photo gut is telling me "radius halos…HDR…BAD!!!" but in this case it IS just the lighting combo, right?  It's cool and all, but I'm conflicted.

You are suggesting he is warming or cooling his body...
