Wow, Jimbos got a great setup and we had Brian Cheney for the oxo tweaking.
Jim got his guitar and we set the oxo's using live music as a tuning fork.
James also sang a few lines to get the vocal voicing right too. TCG took a bunch of pics, I am sure over the course of the week this will develop more. Very nice room treatments, it is the deadest room I have ever been in, outside of a studio. We got to run TCGs 100buck turntable and my mapletree ultra 4.
Great fun, Jim was an awesome host.
I look forward to hosting the next event.

Pics...

Jim/RibbonSpeakers playing the 6 string while Brian Cheney tunes the RM30's...

Brian explaining the tuning process to Berndt/Bill (with Jim A., who is a recording or sound engineer by profession, in back)

Bill, his wife Denise and Jim/RibbonSpeakers takin' in the tunes....

Some of the equipment that was there...VMPS RM30's, Jim's Pathos tube (hybrid?) amp for mids and tweeks, a HUGE ATI 1800 for bottom end duties, Jim's Tube Research Labs player, Bill's (incredible!) Mapletree 4a and Olive Music Server
