Hi all -
I'm in the process of rebuilding my PAS-3X and have a couple of questions.
I'm using new PC boards. Modified PC-6 with the Curcio RIAA mods and bypassed the first .1 uF coupling cap, but was planning to use a 1 uF coupling cap instead of .47 uF for the second one. Has anyone else gone to that high of a value? Will I see any motorboating?
Likewise, on PC-5, Joe recommends changing the stage 1 coupling cap from .02 to .47 and the second stage to .47 as well. Again, I was going to use 1 uF in the second stage, but am now wondering about the first stage. Should I keep .02, or go up to .22 or .47?
Thanks for any advice/thoughts.
