Title: Low Battery Effect on Bugle
Post by: Darterboy on 20 Jul 2004, 04:15 am
A question for Bugle owners (and Jim):

What lets you know that the batteries are getting low in the Bugle? Does the sound quality change as the batteries reach the end of their usefulness?

I'm on my 3rd set of batteries and it seems to me that I begin to notice a loss of bass and HF distortion when they're getting low. New batteries seem to reverse this condition. A multimeter shows the voltage down below 5V on the old batteries. Anyone have similar experiences?

BTW- The bugle is a HUGE improvement over the phono pre in my JVC HT amp. I love it!
