This famous vintage NEC CD-730 CDP is from the early days of digital audio and uses four of the iconic Phillips TDA1541 non-oversampling DAC chips and original Signetics 5532 output opamps. KSS-150A CD mechanism still works. CD tray operates normally only after the player finishes booting, about 5 second delay after power up. This is normal.
Coax and optical TOSLINK outputs. Remote control.
It has upgraded attached non-polar power cord, RCA output jacks, and some vibration damping lead weights inside.
It's in good condition and everything works.
The analog output sounds a little off and might need some repair / cleaning.
Both digital outputs sound excellent played through my DAC.
