I'm looking at purchasing the Olson RA-628 Classic Tube tuner. Does anyone know where I can send it to be worked on? Or modified? Thanks[/b]

Talk to Don Scott -- you can get his contact information out of this ad.  He can both update units with current parts as well as do things based on your needs -- say you need more/less selectivity due to your location, more of this less or that -- Don knows tuners and will end up asking you for your requirements as well as providing excellent suggestions and comments on gear.  Affordable work too.

don scott would be the *LAST* person i'd use to work on a tuna.  ask him the specific make/models of test equipment he uses.  better yet, ask for foto's of him standing next to his test equipment.  reason?  he doesn't use test equipment to align & mod tuna!?!  i guess he does own one piece of gear, but doesn't use it.  amazing that he gets any improvement at all on the tunas he works on.  it's strictly a hit-or-miss proposition w/him.  ask the folks who have sent their don-scott "modded" gear to *real* technicians.
