1970s era EPIs stay in the family
« on: 30 Nov 2003, 04:31 am »
This Thanksgiving at my uncle's saw several family members leave with old chairs, books, and other things that he was going to give away.  I left with a pair of EPI M90s from the mid-seventies.  I haven't hooked them up yet, but they look to be in great shape.

I've read that these were mid-fi speakers.  Anybody have more to say or first hand experience with Epicure's products?

The local hi-fi dealer (Akron, Oh) favored Epi/Epicure for a number of years as equivalent to the Advents.  Are you familiar with the Human speaker site???  He has spare parts/ info on Epi, Genesis (the older speaker company, not the one with Arnie Nudell) and his own speakers.
