Blu Ray player recommendations

One of ours died, and I haven't really been paying attention to BR players. I kind of figured when one of mine died, then I'd finally get that Oppo I wanted.

OOPS!

So...what's good these days? I did get a 4K UHD TV a couple of years ago, so it needs that. And for me...audio>video. I'm a 2-channel guy, no surround sound system. Mid-priced....$150-$350.

After some interwebbing tonight, I came up with two Yamaha BD-S681 and Sony ubp-x800m2. The Yamaha seems to have an audio edge, the Sony had more bells and whistles and is $80 less.

Any other players I should be considering?

In the past I have looked at a lot of blu ray players. Honestly I couldn't tell any difference in the ones I saw.
I finally bought a Sony. Good enough for me.

                                                  Cheers

Thanks Charlie,

My last 3 players have all been Sony, and all have done fine. I appreciate the feedback.

I own a Sony and would recommend it. If you want streaming apps double check which ones come bundled because the apps can differ by player.

I've both the Sony UDP X-1000ES and the X-1100ES.   Very happy with their performance.  They both support DSEE-HX, which enhances CD/DVD 2 channel playback.
