Upgrade your Audience PowerChord to the e version

Short story:  Upgrade your old powerchord.  The price is reasonable and you get what sounds like a new cord:  Natural, open, dynamic, quiet with great pacing.  Spatial cues are much improved too.  Hey, what did you expect?  ?E? is for enhanced.

The e upgraded cord is clearly more dynamic and nuanced.  In my setup, swinging music swings more, but, interestingly, music that builds slowly seems to build more slowly.  In other words, the pace of the individual piece is more natural and expressive.  The lower noise floor seems to be contributing to this quality.

Likewise, tonality is increased so that the tonal character of instruments is more pronounced but totally natural sounding.  Bass is stronger and more differentiated.  Mid-bass is much improved and helps the natural sound of the piano, for example.

Break-in is 300 hours but sounded pretty good after the 200 hour mark.  It starts out sounding rather congested and flat and opens up over time.  I hate break-in but this was worth the wait.
