I have restarted a BDP-3 after changing network from wireless to ethernet to find that the audio files on the attached hard drives are not loading to MDP list. The hard drives are all listed and marked in red at the bottom of the Home tab but none are appearing as being loaded to the play area. And there no U for update showing on the display screen. What has gone wrong? Never had this problem before now after a restart, or reset of Network or Global settings.

Ah, disconnecting the drives from the USB inputs and reconnecting seems to have set uploading into go mode. U has appeared in display, database building underway, smaller drives have appeared in Home list, let's see how it goes ...

Hi Docder,

You can tell the BDP to update its database by using the update button found next to clear and consume, I've included a link to the manic moose manual below.
