Title: Anyone Remember the Old Infinity FET Preamp?

Been digging through my boxes and found this brochure on the INFINITY FET preamp. Pretty amazing for its day. Although critics were not ready to accept this technology. We were all enthralled with the Audio Research SP-3 series! They had a Class D amp then too. Fine for bass. 'Nuff said about that!


I've got an old Servo Statik 1A brochure in storage some where. That was my first insane speaker. I was one of the lucky ones - never fried a mid-panel :-)

Great download - THANKS :-)  Do you have one of the Servo 1A or Digital Amp?

IRS Beta’s..  crazy fun speakers.   I still think about them.

I agree - the beta was a very good speaker. I think it was far better than the IRS - more coherent in the mid bass. But it was Bascom Kings' final speaker at Infinity that was his best work - the Infinity Epsilon. It was a true reference product. The bass required an insane amount of power due to the servo - but within its limitations - it was simply astounding.
