Title: Turnadot on Musical Heritage Society label - any good?
Post by: rockadanny on 30 Jan 2015, 08:44 pm
This version of Turnadot any good?
Surprised to see entire opera on just one disc. How'd they do that? Is it really all there, in lossless format?

Musical Heritage Society, 1993, Complete opera with Sutherland, Pavarotti, Caballe, Ghiaurov, Krause, Pears, and the John Aldis Choir, London Philharmonic Orchestra, and Conductor Zubin Mehta.

If it's just one disc then it's the 'Highlights' disc; the entire opera is on a MHS 2 disc set, originally issued in the States by London/Decca, then picked up by MHS.
