Anyone who has been to the Audio Shows and has heard Roger Sander's 10C speakers will have to admit they are always one of the Best at Show
and if you have the means you should buy a pair.
However, if you can't afford the 10C at $13,000, Roger Sander's prior Eros II Speakers are a good way to go.
The Eros II have been updated by installing the Behringer DCX2496 crossover that Roger Sanders uses with his 10C speakers.
With the Behringer installed, I'd say the Eros II now delivers 85% of the 10C sound.
Classical & Jazz is just glorious, they excel at vocals. The transmission line Bass provides excellent articulation & speed , is very satifying and felt as well as heard.
Innersound Eros II speakers with your choice of electronic crossover:
A) Behringer DCx2496 crossover ( outputs have been upgraded with Blackgate capacitors)
B) Original Innersound electronic crossover and a 300wpc Bass amp - this also includes a remote control
(C) Both - this is how I am currently using the speakers and does provide the best sound
Currently using the Innersound crossover for its Bass amp only and using the Behringer electronic crossover.
This method is now very close to how Roger Sanders is using his 10C speakers (he uses a Magtech amp for bass).
