SPL is the same as the old model but Vas are considerably higher.

Thx for posting this. Always thinking about adding an OB design to my speaker collection... especially a DIY build at this price point. Unfortunately, I'm flat out of storage space for more audio gear(especially speakers) at this point. I continue to strategize though.
