MQA on Salkstream player?

Are there any plans to add MQA to the Salkstream players?  If so, can existing players be updated?

I don't know the current status of the project, but both Roon and Tidal are working on this.  In fact, since Roon can transfer a bit perfect signal, as long as you have a MQA-capable DAC, Roon can handle the task now.

Our new Generation III StreamPlayer, to be introduced at AXPONA this week-end, will be one of the first Linux-based, headless players to incorporate the next version of Roon (1.2).  It is also scheduled to be  released this week.

Generation II StreamPlayers can up upgraded to Generation III with a change of processors and disc drives.  Generation I StreamPlayers cannot be upgraded to Generation III as there is no way to handle elevated processor temperatures in that particular version.
