How cool are the folks on AC, allow me to tell you. Recently Pete G. posted a photo of some Bison I thought was superb. Jokingly I said he should make some prints. Guess what appeared in my mailbox, yes indeed, a lovely print from the same shoot. My wife found a nice matte frame for it today and it seemed to fit nicely at the bottom of the stairs.

That image really works beautifully with the new cropping and the frame really suits it. It has a classic look now.

I thought this was an interesting picture of the CN train on the main line, carrying nothing but pipe. We're getting a pipeline whether we want it or not. Unfortunately I didn't have a good vantage point which would have been on the overpass. Which I didn't have time for.

heading to my friend's performance at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, I saw some amazing light shine upon SF as I saw the skyline from Highway 101. a few blurry pics from cell phone from my driving position didn't capture it. Oh well... off the highway, in front of me was a double rainbow. Not my first but the light was still amazing. I pull over. I end up in front of Hotel Utah, which is a music venue in SF. I open the trunk pull out the DSLR....
