Anyone like to visit?
« on: 25 Jan 2020, 12:55 am »
Hi,
I met several of you at Don’s the other day.
Anyone like to visit this Saturday?
I have several items to evaluate in my system
Uptone EtherREGEN, Newly configured Audio PC vs Aries G2, IDEON Reclocker vs Iso Regen.
Let me know by PM.

Thanks,
Steven

Ah man I wish I would’ve seen this earlier. I’ve also really been itching for another audio nerd gathering since Don’s a couple weeks ago.

Next weekend could be open. I might do something Saturday evening but not sure.

Wow thought you guys that remembered all the fun times we revisited from my Audio Musicale days and recalled such legendary St. Louis audiophiles as Don Meriweaher, Adam Casmere, Lloyd Smith, Dixon Smart, JC Gordon's, Gerry LeMay of St. Louis Sound, triamped Bozaks, Mike Rogers, etc. would at least be curious.

It sure was fun seeing you all at the Benjamin’s get together.

Oh well.
Would still like to hear some of your systems. I always learn new things when visiting others.
I’m still open to visits but not setting aside any times unless contacted.

Thanks,
Steven

Wow those are some impressive looking setups. I’d like to hear them sometime but I ended up with other things planned yesterday.

Maybe schedule something for a month+ from now so everyone can get it on their schedules more comfortably?

Sure. I can reschedule. I can setup an AudioCircle get together.
I was kind of hoping that a couple of audiophiles would stop by a couple at a time so I’d get to know you all a bit better as I don’t know most of you.

With a little luck I can get 3 systems set up.

The Legacy V System
Featuring: The Dude, Lampi DAC, Auralic Aries G2, CODA, etc.
This has taken a lifetime to create.
There is really not room for more than about 3-5 people at a time.

The Legacy Silhouette Multi Channel Home Theater System

And maybe a third system in the fireplace room. I do like the Magnepan LRS speakers, I’m tempted to buy a pair and set up a small system there.

So if interested in a get together in February or March let me know.
Or if you’d like to get together a couple of a time.
And of course I’d be glad to hear other systems. I’ve heard many in the area that sound awesome!

Steve, most pick a date and set a time frame, then request RSVP.

The big system: Lampizator DAC, The Dude tube pre, Coda Class A amplifiers, Legacy V speakers and six JL Audio subs, in a acoustically treated room.  In addition, the Aries G2 and a vast music library + Tidal

Hi, Steve.  Sorry I missed this.  I got busy with my consulting biz and didn't get back to Audiocircle until I self quarantined this week for the damn Bat bug.  Hopefuly they will get this thing contained in the next couple months so we can all come out of hermit mode.

I enjoyed having you and the guys over, and I'd love to hear your set-up - very impressive !

Take Care and Be Well !!!
