[URGENT] Nuforce Icon Problem with Snow Leopard
« on: 24 Sep 2009, 10:04 pm »
I just upgraded to Snow Leopard for my MBP.
And notice my S-1 sounds weird and missing some of the sounds that i used to hear from songs.

After some testing, I notice the right channel is missing when i do a left-right panning for some songs. I hear nothing when I pan all the way to the right.

So should I seek help from Apple forum? or is there any work around or driver fixes that i can do?

Thanks

If your computer is working prior to Snow Leopard upgrade.  I would reinstall the old 10.4.x OS.  That should fix it.

Good luck,

My Icon works fine with Snow Leopard on a mac pro.

look at your apple -> system pref -> sound -> output
Make sure the USB Audio DAC is selected
Balance is in the center
Output vol is max
I put itunes vol at 80% so I can here system sounds
and change the icon vol depending how good the song is.

http://www.pandora.com/ does 192kbs tracks now.
http://www.bitcartel.com/pandorajam/
will put those tracks with images into itunes
