 I looked with interest at recent post of both drphoto's site and that of his former assistant.

 I'm enamored of evocative photography, and thought y'all might enjoy a look my niece's work.
She actually works for Hallmark, so you may have seen her photos already on cards. If you read her bio, she references her grandfather, my dad, as an early influence. Dad didn't ever claim to be a pro, in fact his career was as a pharmacist, but there are many of his photos hanging in our home. He liked nice gear and would have enjoyed the digital photography world, I suspect.

 I'm proud that Jane carries whatever torch there is to carry into a new millennium.

peter. she does excellent work. so your dad was pharmacist? That's the other hat I wear these days. Just helping out in local trauma center during the busy summer. Then back to the photo biz (weird I know)

Yep, Dad was a pharmacist, had his own store for as long as I remember.  The only interest we shared there was in drugs, albeit, for me, the illicit variety.

We did, however, mend the fences we tore down before he died. I'm proud of that, and I know he was too.
