1978 Triumph Bonneville TR 140 ?

Thoughts? Thinking about trading for one... But I have mild concerns about freeway worthiness. It is a great looking bike, but I got to be able to push around a semi truck at 90mph if need be.

Bike British but own good shoe leather if you catch my drift.
I've owned a BSA 250, Triumph 250, BSA 500 single, Norton 750 Atlas, Norton 750 Commando, Norton 850 Commando and 1979 Triumph Bonneville.
Great fun but not the most dependable things you'll ever own.

I ended up getting a Honda 1981 Honda CB750k.

Not as much fun as the Barnacle but I'll bet you spend a lot less time pushing it home.
