New HT3's in crotch mahogany - SOLD
« on: 15 Mar 2009, 07:41 pm »
Lap originally ordered a pair of SongTowers.  He then decided to go all out and get a pair of HT3's.  He wanted something very spectacular and, after looking at a lot of pictures, selected crotch mahogany with solid mahogany trim.

Just as we were approaching the finish line, Lap ran into some financial difficulties and asked if I could help find a new home for the speakers we built for him.  I said sure, we could do that.

These speakers are brand new and we packed them just after they were completed.  So they are ready for immediate delivery.

Here are some pictures...

And a closeup...

These HT3's were done in "full-blown" cabinets which start at $5695.  The crotch mahogany veneer was $396 and the solid mahogany trim was $70.  The total is $6161.

These are spectacular speakers that will look beautiful in someone's home.  And they are ready for immediate delivery.

Very nice pair Jim. I can vouch for the veneer and I'm sure the highlight makes them nice as well!  I know they will find a great home

These were done in our standard finish.  They can be rubbed out for $1500, but that will take a week or two to get done.  So it would delay shipping.

If still for sale, then maybe  the title should have the SOLD removed?

Well, thanks for the link.  I marked them as sold because orientalexpress did proceed with the sale.  He originally asked us to sell them and we put up this thread.  He then decided to keep them and paid in full last week.  So I marked them as SOLD.  But we have not shipped the speakers yet.  We were waiting for directions as to where and when he wanted them shipped.  Apparently, he decided to sell them rather than take delivery.

In the message linked below, he lists them for $5500.  That would be a good deal since they cost him about $1000 more to have built.

Any inquiries should be directed toward him as they have been paid for and are no longer ours.  But we would be happy to ship them anywhere.
