:thumb:  Update: After listening to the BXI Panel Mod for two years, I'm sold on the panels, versus the NoRez on speaker ramp.  :thumb:

Photo above, is the reverse side of tweeter panel. I ran the speaker wire down to cabinet ramp, marked cabinet and drilled holes to align with BXI Panel perfectly. In the process, I also allowed for extra wire, inside cabinet below ramp, for removal of tweeter if need to be at a later date. For what ever reason, it will make it convienent, providing more shaking room with the tweeter removal, soldering, etc..

(Took photo above, before attaching the last two middle screws, that secure the tweeter to front baffle.)

I used this product to attach BXI Panels. It is the same product they use to attach credit cards you receive in the mail. It curls up like boogers. Works great for this application. For easy removal, if you should ever need to replace or service the tweeter.

Thanks for the compliment Tomy2Tone

That is some NASA level cable management there! The real question is, can you hear a difference between panels on vs panels off?

Answer to your queston nlitworld,

I'll SAY THIS, I"M SOLD ON THE BXI PANEL MOD, ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE RESULTS!
Not only do I like how it sounds, but it looks superior in appearance too. Which was not a priority what so ever. :thumb: :drums: :thumb:
.

Another Addition as well, I also fabricated these radiused top grill frame inserts. I wanted radius edges, versus, the existing squared off edges at the top of the speaker cabinet ramp area. My theory here, was to provide a even smoother subtle transition of frequencies, exiting from the top of ramp of speaker cabinet. Again, the theory, is to reduce defraction off the squared off vertical upright surfaces, on the top perimeter of ramp area.

For critical listening, I remove all grills on top and front of speakers, then I'll insert the finished radiused frames, ontop of speaker ramp perimeter, for critical listening enjoyment. Do the top roundover frames improve sound? It's a subtle, and a cheap task to complete. Plus, it gives a cleaner appearance alongside the top of cabinet. I finished the radius frames with this rubberized black plasti-dip that I already had, in my storage cabinet.

My speakers are positoned into my listening room 3 feet from front wall.

Anyone that is interested in a good resource for audiophile stylus tip replacements this guy takes it to another level of performance.
For example this brand new Denon DL-103R phone cartridge, he upgraded with a top of the line Boron Cantilever & Micro-Ridge (MicroLine) stylus. He sells it upgraded for $550. Now it will compete with any cartridge in the $5K range. Pretty significant change, for a $100 more upgrade.

Curious what he can do with your turntable cartridge performance, by upgrading the stylus?  Give him a call, he works with upgrading many manufacturer phono cartridges.

How is this related to my NX-Studio's?  The source will be delivered by a even better quality stylus / cartridge combination, benefitting my speakers ouput reproduction.:thumb:
