Mr. Cordesman also did the review of the Super Tower III/SRE back in 1998 and after the review of the Infinity RS1b's. It would seem that those Super Towers were the embodiment of what he had suggested in the Infinity review, VMPS 'ultimate bass' with ribbons. I always wished he would have brought up what he had written in that RS1b review when he did the one on the Super Towers.
What brought this back to mind is that I see a set of Super towers on sale now on Audiogon. The owner is currently just using them as an ultimate pair of subwoofers.
