Also known as Godwin's law, originally from usenet.

For those not familiar with this parody genre, here is a link describing its history.

Quote
Due to the film’s international success and Bruno Ganz’ haunting portrayal of the Nazi dictator, numerous segments from the movie soon fell fodder to hilarious parodies on YouTube, spawning hundreds of anachronistically subtitled videos of Hitler getting upset over topical events and trivial gossip.

The cable controversy....settled.
Oh, Downfall meme - is there anything you can't do?

I first thought that "Zapperator" was a joke word made up for the video, but it turns out to be a real product!

Really!?!?!  :duh:
I thought it was made up too.

I love those Hitler videos, just fantastic. One of my favorites had to so with the Toyota Prius.

Sounds like a retro title to me, dating back to the days when all kinds of stuff was either "ator" (Kelvinator) or "ola" (Motorola, Detrola, Radiola, etc.).

Right. Fifty or sixty years ago, those names were marketing genius.
Now, they just sound stupid when they're used.

It's a bit like so many things now days are purposely spelled incorrectly, like "X-treme".
Just think how that bit of marketing would have gone over back in the fifties.

I made the mistake of viewing this last night in bed and laughed so hard I woke up the wife; she wasn't pleased. This is brilliant. I love it that he mentions the Shakti Hallograph SoundField. And calling Streisand his. Little Yentl! My stomach hurts from laughing.
