Hey Ruben,
Is there some reason that you can't post a price list somewhere? You can always change it as the need arises and it would really cut down on your PMs. Just because I am curious and after seeing your pics I am kind of embarrassed about my own "work".

Best,
Don

Old question, but still relevant.

I shied away from putting up prices because I didn't want to under/over quote on builds I wasn't familiar with. For a while I was giving people numbers that were too low. As a result, some people got "once in a lifetime" deals on first builds of a particular model. :thumb: Now that I have a lot of the builds on the books, I'm comfortable listing prices. However, there may be some adjustments here and there if necessary.

I will post raw built and flat pack prices this weekend.

No need to feel embarrassed Don! I've been in the woodworking trade for 12 years. It's what I do! :D You have a PM.

Thanks!

Ruben

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St RUBEN soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of PIANO BLACK N3S' danced in their heads.

I will post raw built and flat pack prices this weekend.

Update!

I'm going to hold off on listing the raw options (for now) as I'm currently in the process of developing a completely new enclosure system which we've dubbed the "Quik Fix Enclosure System" (QFES). :thumb:

The QFES will make building your own set of speaker enclosures easier than ever before. These enclosures come shipped as a flat pack, are pre veneered, and the only tools and supplies you'll need to assemble them are a screw gun, screw driver and wood glue. NO CLAMPS NECESSARY!

Standard veneer options will include Red Alder, Maple, Hickory/Pecan, Cherry, Walnut, Birch, Clear Pine, Knotty Pine, Jatoba, Mahogany (African) and Red/White Oak.

As soon as I have everything buttoned up I'll start a new thread with a full pictorial showing how the system works.

Thanks!

Ruben

Werd! That would add a HUGE new dimension for those of us who want a veneered cabinet, don't have the skills/time to do it but still want to put stuff together. Like me!

Hey Rubin,

This is great news for us DIY guys.  For those people who have never attempted a build, there is a ton of work that goes into building a speaker.  Rubin you are making it way easier with this type of idea.  Just be sure to price it high enough to make it worth your time so you will still be rocking it in a few years when I want a pair of Super Vs  :icon_lol:

I think the veneer is the fun part. It doesn't look anything like what Ruben does but it just takes some TLC to get something that looks decent.
Maybe get this system with raw mdf too?

The average DIYer can get a decent looking veneer job with enough time and patience.  It is unlikely that a DIYer could come close to the level of Ruben's painted cabinets without a spray booth, professional spray equipment, 2 part catalyzed paints or lacquers and some skill and experience.
