Seems like an strange way to sell speakers....by saying they aren't as good as one of the reviewers says they are?

  haha.  NRD is a fan-boy ,, the speakers aren't terrible , but don't do anything really well. But for the relatively cheap price , they aren't terrible. They are so very big and need to be far out in the room. Not for everybody.  A good set of monitors with 3 subs is the way to go.

Is the asking priced of "5500.00" in Canadian dollars? I ask because a new pair of M3 Sapphires from Spatial Audio Labs is US$4950.00

Are these the M3 Sapphires?

The posting also says "current edition," but could you post a photo? The M3 Sapphires currently are not sold in a wood veneer, while wood veneers were common in the M3 Sapphires available two years ago.

   these are the new with the new crossover. Sapphires they are. To many speakers.  Might try the 400 Mk2 by Buchardt .  They look interesting indeed. Open to offers of course. Theses gotta go.

Thanks. If the available space and decor require the speakers to be back against the wall next to furniture, I can see how an open baffle design like the Sapphires might not be the best option. Bare wood floors would also affect the sound.
