SB3 Analog Mods Customized?
« on: 11 Sep 2006, 06:56 pm »
Hi Wayne.

Interested in the SB3 analog mod but I have a few questions:

1. I love the sound of oil caps and I have a set of 10 mfd oilers. Can you do the analog mods and use the caps I provide with the unit? They are very large and would have to be installed outside the unit.

2. What is the current turnaround time for this mod?

Thanks!

10 ufd PIO? They must be about the size of the SB3 alone

Unfortunately running wire outside the chassis is just asking for RFI from the wireless card to come join the party. There is also a goodly amount of transmitted noise from the display.

RWA had trouble with noise pick-up when they tried mounting Auricaps outside the case.

There might be a possibility of fitting those caps inside the Transporter.

Right now, SB mods are taking around 2 weeks.
