Finally getting around to joining the AudioCircle. I have a Dedicated Listening Room with GIK Products and GR Research XLS Encore, Book Shelves, and Now the tower version, also in Rotation are some Elacs BS41s Modified and a Set of B1+. Look forward to some great conversations.

Welcome to the circle! Everybody is a noob at some point - no worries. You'll find folks very helpful and friendly, so post whatever is on your mind.

Welcome!

I've had a dedicated listening/office studio with GIK panels too for 18 years.  The room is 8ft x 13ft x 21ft (Fibonacci Ratios) and reasonably well insulated.  Set up is mid-field (monitors are 8ft from listening chair and 7ft apart), 4ft from front wall.

Just swapped out 19 year old commissioned floor standers for Buchardt A500SE's with their small hub (wireless preamp with room EQ).  The A500SE's aren't cheap but with 600 watts total on board and $1000 worth of drivers plus the ability to remotely load "Master Tunings" the content value is high.  Previously had three 10" subwoofers to tame inherent room modes and tried Dirac room EQ.
