Sorry, but the all wood bit looks like junior's shop class project.  It may indeed be very effective, but it just doesn't do it for me.

I think the turntable looks decent, albeit a bit basic.  But not sure about that bamboo arm.  And I've progressed far since I began my audio journeys, but I still don't consider $1295 to be "entry level".  The CD player looks silly.

...this silly goes back a ways....their initial design "coup" was the Block Series a.k.a. the Boat Anchor Series, where-in everything was housed in "special" concrete blocks....ugly beyond belief ( and from a resonance control standpoint one would have to work real hard to design a dumber enclosure )...
