Use of acrylic for racks/shelves?
« on: 2 Jun 2010, 01:37 am »
Hi all!  What's happening?

I'm considering having an equipment rack/shelves made from acrylic.  I know it looks way cool but what are the pros and cons of using acrylic for this application?

A thick acrylic shelve is great, it partially absorbs the vibrations of the equipment.    Acrylic is my second choice, my first choice is thick real wood and termites too.
