I have not tested yet, I am still in the burning in process.

But I guess because the current capacities that just only a pair of xtreme can blew away the n802 and control totally these speakers while stay absolute quiet and unporessed.

But I have not done the test yet, I promise I will.

Thanks for the follow up.  Wouldn't want you to rush things anyway.  I'll be interested to hear your review.

I am so sorry, I have not tested yet, because my potencial customer lives in Sevilla, 1000 km from here.

I got a customer with HT3 plus in Sevilla, and they will test this with the 802.

But sooner or later I will be able to go to sevilla, then we will make the hearing.

Only 1.000 km? That is a weak excuse for being lazy

Looking forward to hearing more about the B&W/Odyssey-test.

It's been so long, you might as well test the new N802D now!

I have heard the Stratos with BW N-802 and they sound great! I have Silverline Sonatas II, which are very efficient (93db) and I can increase the volume quite high without strain and distortion. However, the Stratos are a bit laid back and just a bit dark when compared to other SS amps. This is something that I like as I listen to classical music over 90% of the time.

This said, the Stratos are very clean, detailed, musical and they do not cause fatigue. Slam factor is great.

Happy listening!

Which version of Stratos? Are they the Mono Extremes?

We tried the 180W Stratos Monoblock but still feel that there isn't quite enough headroom to make the N802 reach it's full potential. Therefore, I feel that Mono Extremes are mandatory for the N802. If you can biamp, even better... :D
