Time has come with a lot of requests for a mid size center channel speaker with this in mind we designed the APEX LCR O  which can be used as a center channel a right or left, sides or rears, it is very versital speaker kit.Our new APEX LCR O uses modified SDX7 woofers matched with OW4 Hiquphon Platinum dome  tweeter or optional RA104.5 ribbon tweeter..This APEX LCR O speaker kit uses drivers placed in a WMTW configuration with a mirror image placement of the drivers using OW4 Hiquphon Platinum dome  tweeter or optional RA104.5 ribbon tweeter.

Expectations of sound quality from our new APEX LCR O speaker kit.The bass is very tight not boomy with in room response below 24hz, mid range plus higher frequency range are very well balanced with great off axis response.

Crossover points 550hz plus 2000hz, responses were taken at 1 meter notice the 5 markers showing the 2.5+ - from 200hz to 20k

Off axis horizontal measurements are yellow (on axis) and light blue, dark blue, orange 15,30, and 45 degrees off axis.Scale readings is in 5db increments.

Very clean spectral decay of the finished speaker

Spectral decay of the tweeter, midrange plus woofer with the crossover measured with components which are included in the speaker kit

tweeter

Midrange

Woofer

Impedance of the ported APEX LCR O very easy amplifier load

Impedance of the sealed APEX LCR O

Speaker kit $599.99

APEX LCR O  can be used as a right or left, sides or rears, it is very versital speaker kit.Our new APEX LCR O uses modified SDX7 woofers matched with OW4 Hiquphon Platinum dome  tweeter or optional RA104.5 ribbon tweeter..This APEX LCR O speaker kit uses drivers placed in a WMTW configuration with a mirror image placement of the drivers using OW4 Hiquphon Platinum dome  tweeter or optional RA104.5 ribbon tweeter.

Below are the measurments of the APEX LCR O when used as a monitor speaker. The measurments off axis change from left to right as the tweeter is closer to one edge than the other as well as the midrange. If using the APEX LCR O as a monitor we recommend to use the speakers with the tweeters positioned on the inside of the speakers (not outer edges to the walls)

APEX LCR O horizontal off axis response with the mic moved toward the tweeter side of the cabinet when used as a vertical monitor.(below) If using the APEX LCR O as a monitor for best imaging place the tweeter to the center of the room for best imaging.

APEX LCR O horizontal off axis response with the mic moved toward the midrange side of the cabinet when used as a vertical monitor.(below)

As you can see the APEX LCR O is best off axis response with the tweeters uses on the inside when used as a vertical monitor.
